Hugo Ehrnreich, CEO of Be Informed, reflected on 2025 and shared his vision for 2026: highlighting key achievements, challenges, and what we expect to see in the year ahead.
2025: From transformation to execution!
2024 was all about transformation and strengthening our strategic focus, our team, and the foundation for our ambitious RegTech leadership goals and 3-year plan.
In 2025, we built on this strengthened foundation to accelerate execution. From delivering breakthrough innovation and activating key new strategic partnerships to further sharpening the effective articulation of our value proposition. We successfully delivered on our critical milestones in close collaboration with our customers, our partners, and each other, and through tenacious, very hard, and high-quality work.
One of the highlights this year was strengthening our global partnership with Deloitte by embedding our AI and FLINT-standard–based components into the next evolution of Deloitte’s RegExplorer. This collaboration helps public organizations at every level reduce regulatory burden, create smarter regulation, and deliver services that work better for citizens and businesses.
We also saw strong market recognition of our approach. This was reflected in winning high-profile tenders, including the Legal Analysis and Norm Engineering program at the Dutch Immigration Authority (IND). It’s a clear validation of the Be Informed Workbench as the new “golden standard” in this space, valued for its open, pragmatic, integrated, and multi-DSL approach.
On the product side, we delivered our biggest and most innovative Be Informed Platform yet. This included even stronger Workbench and AI capabilities that boost our mission to further empower our customers – from legal analysts to solution architects – and make legal documents (from regulation to contract) machine consumable, explainable, and executable for everyone.
All this while continuing our unbroken track record of reliably and smoothly powering the core dynamic case management processes for some of the most complex global governmental organizations and enterprises in the world.
Last but not least, and perhaps the most impactful to our Dutch team on a daily basis: we made the long-awaited move to our new office at Fauststraat 3 in Apeldoorn!
2026: Building full momentum and speed
In 2026, we are looking to convert these critical achievements of 2025 into full momentum and accelerated impact, return-on-investment (ROI), and value creation for our customers, partners, and ourselves:
- In how we help legislators and policymakers draft clearer, more effective, and automation-ready regulations and drive sensible, high-impact deregulation.
- In how we work with executive government agencies to help them regain control over overwhelmed systems, processes, and constant regulatory change to guarantee always in-control citizen- and business-friendly execution of their societal mission.
- In how we support highly regulated businesses and their service providers in seamlessly aligning constantly changing rules and contracts into in-control, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-friendly execution.
We will build this momentum through faster innovation and (value) delivery cycles, further optimizing the “AI-in-the-loop” value in our platform and to our customers, driving our RegTech and Compliance leadership and market share, and actively collaborating with our global customers and partners to drive the smart, open, interoperable standards that will unleash the full value of regulatory and norm engineering for us all.
